Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Stanley for a full-time role starting in September.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HLTA or a confident Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step, supporting teaching and learning across the school and making a real difference to pupil progress.

The Role
As a HLTA, you will:
* Support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across the primary age range
* Lead whole-class sessions in the absence of the class teacher
* Deliver targeted interventions and small group support to pupils
* Work closely with class teachers to plan and prepare learning activities
* Support pupils with varying learning needs, including those with SEND
* Help to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Monitor and provide feedback on pupil progress

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualification (or significant relevant experience)
* Have experience working within a primary school setting
* Be confident leading whole-class teaching when required
* Demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Be adaptable, proactive, and enthusiastic
* Have experience supporting pupils with SEND (desirable)
* Be reliable and committed to a full-time position
