Job Description:
An enthusiastic Drama Teacher is required to join an Outstanding school in Enfield for a permanent position commencing in September. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering their creativity, confidence, and communication skills through the medium of drama.
Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Drama Teacher lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Develop students' performance skills, understanding of dramatic techniques, and appreciation of theatre.
* Foster a supportive and creative learning environment that encourages experimentation and collaboration.
* Assess and monitor student progress in Drama, providing constructive feedback to support their development as performers and learners.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Drama or a closely related subject.
* Demonstrated experience teaching Drama lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
* A strong understanding of dramatic theory and practice, with the ability to inspire students.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with students and colleagues.
* Outer London Payscale.
* Supportive and collaborative Performing Arts department within an Outstanding school setting.
