CLASS 2 DAY DRIVER
MONDAY TO FRIDAY: START TIMES - 01:00 - 04:00
£16:00 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in BURTON UPON TRENT, WEST MIDLANS.

Rates of Pay
* Basic: £16.00 per hour
Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
* Store Deliveries (working on box vehicles)
* Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
* Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
* Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
* Use of Tail lift for Deliveries of products
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
* Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
* Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed
Essential Skills
As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:
* Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
* Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving Category C vehicles
* No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
* Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
* Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
* Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
* Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
* Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
* Experience driving any commercial vehicles
* Previous experience with multi drop deliveries
Training
* Driver's Assessment will have to be completed
* Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
