Role description
To operate across process areas of production to maximise line efficiencies starting on days with prospects to moving onto a 5-crew shift.
This role will also have the opportunity to fill in on shift where there are shift personnel requirements. This will be paid at the appropriate shift payments
Responsibilities:
1. Identify defects and quality problems.
2. Monitor line and equipment performance and strategies for improvement.
3. Change mould equipment as required and maintain availability of spares to maintain quality and efficiency of operations.
4. Gauge and visually inspect bottles to ensure they meet the necessary specifications in accordance with company procedure
5. Observe the performance of operations, both directly and via internal systems
6. Establish an effective communication flow between forming and inspection, verbally and via internal systems to resolve problems quickly and effectively
7. Monitor performance and report any issues to supervision in a timely manner
8. Identify mechanical malfunctions and rectify where possible.
9. Filling in on shifts where required to maintain optimal performance.
10. Carry out specific housekeeping and upkeep duties from time to time as directed

15. Analytical and logical in approach
16. Fault finding and problem-solving skills
17. Lean tools knowledge desirable

18. Salary Minimum £28,021 - £34,359 Maximum
