Job Summary
Join the Wing Analysis Engineering team and play a key role in shaping the future of aviation. As a Stress Engineer specializing in Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT), you'll contribute to structural analysis and design across products – from single-aisle and widebody wings to modification projects, cost-saving initiatives, certification, and in-service issue resolution.
You'll work alongside highly experienced engineers, with opportunities to both grow your technical expertise and mentor junior colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
* Approve and deliver high-quality F&DT analysis.
* Own the technical scope of assigned projects.
* Develop innovative engineering solutions, drawing on aerospace and cross-industry knowledge.
* Mentor junior engineers, providing both technical and professional guidance.
What We're Looking For
* Strong background in structural engineering and analysis methods.
* Solid knowledge of aircraft structural design principles.
* Proven experience in fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.
* Ideally, an approved F&DT signatory (or close to achieving it).
* Ability to challenge ideas, step back, and propose effective solutions.
* Degree in Engineering with a structural analysis focus.
* Excellent communication skills; fluent in English (other languages are a plus).
* Integrity, accountability, and a drive for sustainable growth.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £29.09-£50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
