Overview
Health Informatics Support Worker at South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. Based at Paddock Wood Make Ready, with some home working and travel across SECAmb sites. Band 3 under NHS Agenda for Change.
Responsibilities
* Join the Health Informatics Team to source patient records and collate associated clinical data to support Clinical Audit and Quality Improvement.
* Analyse data within the team and report to clinicians, Trust leadership, Trust Board, and externally as appropriate.
* Help create a culture of continuous improvement and support improvements across the Trust; contribute to improving the effectiveness of processes within the team.
* Manage and audit paper and electronic clinical records, including scanning, indexing, secure storage, and data flow management; ensure data validation for electronic and paper records.
* Collect data from clinical records and use it to produce reports that drive quality improvements in care.
* Share learning and develop knowledge and skills required for clinical audit and improvement with colleagues across the Trust.

Please note: the salary range is in line with AFC pay scales. All successful applicants are placed at the bottom of the band unless relevant NHS or equivalent experience is demonstrated.
