Igne is seeking an experiencedEstimatorto join the GI England division to be based fromChester-le-Street,County Durham.The role is offered on afull timecontract and some UK travel will be required. You will be responsible for ensuring proactive contract evaluation, tender processing in line with framework contracts, accurate reporting and ground investigation assessments are completed to minimise risk and liability so to reduce litigation, is completed within the relevant deadlines.
Identifying contractual risk at Tender stage
Writing claims and giving contractual advice to engineering department
Dealing with all aspects of small to mid-sized Tenders independently at the discretion of the Commercial Director
Quantity Surveying or Geoscience degree
Accurate preparation and processing of contracts within the geotechnical engineering and drilling company
Full UK driving licence
