This Manager,GlobalMedical Affairs GMAVI Execution Teamrole willreport totheExecutive Directorof theGMAVI Execution Team,and supportbothHIVand LIVEExecution Teamsin the delivery of strategically aligned activities and other relevantprojects andensure consistency and efficiency in the delivery ofall relevant departmental operations and processes.
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
1. Working with the direction of the GMAVI Executionteams,independently manages,facilitates, or provides support to:
2. Assistancein the core GMAVI Execution Team roles and responsibilities (including but not limited to TA insights report generation, POC for GMA TA teams,etc)
3. Collaborate closely with cross-functionals Execution Team Leads to provide country support for insights generation and dissemination
4. Assistingin the evolving Execution Team processes and contributing to the development of new platforms and AI supported tools
5. Assistingin yearly budget management, including contract drafting and execution, purchase ordercreationand tracking, and OPEX management
6. Assistancein key time sensitive deliverables (including but not limited to weekly country notifications, quarterly management of KOL engagements onKwelloportal,and coordination of other global with local communications)
7. Assistancein managing the GMA SharePoint and other similar technical resources utilised by GMA and Local MA teams
8. AssistingGMAVIExecution Team Leads withtheiradditionalresponsibilities such asdevelopment, review andpreferablyABPI approval of GMA educational materials and resources, across multiple TAs(including, but not limited to slide decks, infographics, videos, digital resources, etc.)
9. Attend HIV/LIVE congresses as assigned, and provide support for key conference activities within the remit of Execution Teamrole
10. Assistanceinorganising regulartouchpoints for GMAVI Execution Teams
11. Collaboratively work with Gilead personnel across multiple functional areas, including Commercial, Marketing, Clinical Research,Pharmacovigilanceand Epidemiology, Regulatory, and Legal/Business Conduct
Specific Education and Experience Requirements:
12. PharmD, Ph.D., MD, DO, MPHwith 0- 2 years' experience, or other advanced health-related or life science degree with required experience (MS +4years; BS +6 years)
13. Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred, particularly within Medical Affairs
14. Relevant experience in HIVtreatment/HIV prevention,infectious diseases and inflammation,therapeutic areas preferred
15. Experience in medical communications around clinical data, and developing educational resources such as slide decks, infographics, videos, and othermaterials
16. Preferential experienceas anABPI medical reviewerand Final Signatory
17. Demonstrated success in working closely with management to develop effective and creative solutions to complex problems and the ability to managemultiple projects simultaneously.
18. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills arerequired.
19. Committed to continuing education tomaintaina knowledge base and expand disease-state knowledge.
20. Ability toutilizemoderately complex scientific resources across a variety of different settings.
21. Ability to work collaboratively andexperience inworking on cross-functional teams.
