Overview
This Audit Senior role offers exposure to a broad portfolio of complex audit engagements, including group audits and consolidations, while taking ownership of assignments from planning through to completion. It is ideal for a qualified or near qualified auditor looking to accelerate progression and deepen technical and client-facing experience.
Responsibilities
* Lead audit assignments from planning through to manager review
* Deliver audit fieldwork on-site and remotely across a diverse client portfolio
* Prepare and review audit files and reports to a high technical standard
* Supervise, delegate to and develop junior team members
* Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact
* Identify technical issues and contribute to their resolution
* Support accounts preparation under UK GAAP and relevant frameworks
Profile / Qualifications
* ACA or ACCA qualified, or at final stages of qualification
* Strong audit background within UK practice
* Experience leading audits and supervising junior staff
* Solid technical knowledge of UK GAAP and ISAs
* Confident communicator with a commercial, client-focused approach
* Ambitious and motivated to progress towards Audit Manager
