Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Chemical Technician to join our growing family team. As a new role the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the business future with product development, product registration and through various research opportunities and on farm trials. This position involves conducting experiments, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance of chemicals within different countries and regions.
Duties
* Complete compliance and regulatory paperwork for existing chemicals in new countries where possible.
* Research standard chemicals available within the dairy industry in set countries.
* Perform wet chemistry procedures to analyze chemical properties and reactions.
* Assist in product development by collaborating with engineers on research projects.
* Maintain accurate records of experiments and results.
* Ensure quality control by conducting routine tests and inspections of materials and products.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance company brand and products available and co processes and efficiency.
Skills
* Proficiency in analytical chemistry techniques such as chromatography (gas chromatography, high-performance liquid chromatography) and spectroscopy.
* Strong understanding of biochemistry principles and their application in research settings.
* Familiarity with quality control processes and regulatory standards including CGMP and ISO 9001.
* Experience with laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometers and other analytical instruments.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in experiments and data analysis.
* Previous laboratory experience in manufacturing or research settings is highly desirable.
