We've got a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Engineer looking for a new challenge within a critical environment. Our client, who is a market leading, well established and respectable company within commercial building services. They are looking to strengthen their maintenance team by taking on an experienced, highly motivated Electrical Engineer!
For the role of this Electrical Engineer position, you'll be responsible for the PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, actively troubleshoot and fault find, liaise with subcontractors, update site logbooks and ensure all critical systems are running efficiency.
To be successful for this role, you must be fully qualified in Electrical installations / Engineering, (C&G, EAL, NVQ or equivalent), at least 3 years experience in commercial building maintenance, great understanding of M&E systems and live within commutable distance to site.
Electrical Engineer Duties:
PPMs & Reactive maintenance
Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, Pumps, BMS Operation
Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
Completing logbooks and RAMS
Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.
Electrical Engineer Requirements:
Fully qualified in electrical installations / engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent / higher)
At least 3 years experience as an Electrical Engineer within commercial maintenance
Live within commutable distance to site
Great understanding of commercial M&E systems.
Experience in a critical environment would be desirable, not essential
Salary and Package:
£44,000 - £47,000 per annum
Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
