As an SEN Teacher, you will work with small classes and individual learners, creating personalised learning plans that meet each pupil's developmental, emotional, and academic needs. You will play a key role in fostering a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with varying SEN needs. Develop and implement personalised education plans (IEPs). Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and external agencies. Use a range of strategies to support communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation. Assess pupil progress and adjust strategies to ensure continued development. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience working within SEN or specialist education settings. Strong understanding of SEND frameworks and inclusive teaching practices. Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach to supporting pupil development. An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
