Role Overview: Dennison Commercials Ltd is the sole Volvo Truck & Bus dealer and the leading provider of heavy commercial vehicles in Northern Ireland. Reporting to the General Manager for Denn-Part, the role will take responsibility for the co-ordination of sales support to our Dungannon based Denn-Part field-based sales representative, thus ensuring the continued success and growth of our Denn-Part business, whilst also incorporating the sales of Genuine Volvo Parts and Used Parts. Location: The role will be based out of our Dungannon Depot. Hours of Work: This is a full-time position with a core working week of 40 hours, 08:30 17:00, Monday to Friday. An element of flexibility will be expected outside of these hours as and when needed to support the field based sales representative. About The Role Key Duties and Responsibilities: Processing sales representative enquiries for parts prices and availability and providing them with the required information in a timely fashion Proactive outbound daily sales calls to existing and new customers to fully utilise a structured delivery service Ensuring that delivery schedules are adhered to e.g. vans are properly loaded, leave on time and keep to designated route Relationship building with new customers Face to face parts sales when required Maintaining an efficient parts stock control system Parts picking from warehouse when required Administrative duties associated with parts ordering Following up on issues with the sales representative Producing reports on a regular basis as requested Liaising with all areas across the business Ad hoc duties as required and commensurate with the position Required Criteria Demonstrable previous relevant sales support experience Previous knowledge and experience of working within the heavy vehicle industry or motor factors A strong knowledge of heavy vehicle parts is essential Must be able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness and good analytical skills Be a confident and competent decision maker Ability to negotiate strongly and effectively, in a professional manner Be an excellent communicator who listens actively, thinks strategically and has the ability to gain credibility at all levels Possess a proactive, flexible and methodical approach to work Be self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure using their own initiative and reacting to changing priorities Be able to manage their time effectively Be able to work unsupervised and on your own initiative Possess demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word and Excel Possess a full, valid driving licence Desired Criteria Previous experience and use of CRM systems would be desirable Skills Needed Time Management/Organisational skills, Communication, Teamworking About The Company Join the Dennisons Team: A Legacy of Excellence in Commercial Vehicles Dennisons, a family of businesses united in offering superior services in the commercial vehicle industry, invites you to become part of our story.
