The post holder will be responsible for the care of research participants and trial data management at Dorset County Hospital, as well as supporting research conducted at the Weymouth Research Hub. This will require the deployment of administrative, analytical and interpersonal skills alongside an aptitude for securing multi-departmental and professional support for clinical trials through effective communication at all levels of the organisations involved.
* To provide a high-quality specialist clinical research service as part of the multi-professional and disciplinary team across DCH sites.
* Display an in-depth understanding and become competent in screening, recruiting, consenting and caring for participants across a range of clinical trials.
* To develop expertise in research data collection from participants.
* Display efficiency at time and project management.
* The post holder will be required to work independently within occupational, national and organisational guidelines.
