Your unique contribution
The Master Data Lead is responsible for establishing and maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and quality of all key master data within the business systems that support our operations. Operating across multiple production facilities and storage sites, this role ensures the integrity of data relating to materials, packaging, bill of materials, suppliers, customers, production sites, and storage locations.
You will have six main areas of responsibility:
Leadership & Governance
* Lead a team, driving development and engagement.
* Train stakeholders on data best practices and reporting tools.
Master Data Maintenance
* Maintain accurate master data for raw materials (e.g., ingredients, flavors), packaging materials (e.g., bottles, cans, labels), finished goods, bills of materials (BOMs), and recipes/formulas.
* Manage master data for suppliers, production sites, storage locations, and distribution channels.
* Set up and maintain product hierarchies, SKU attributes, and pricing structures where applicable.
Data Governance & Strategy
* Enforce master data governance policies, procedures, and controls.
* Standardise data across production facilities and warehouses.
Process Improvement & Systems
* Streamline master data creation/change processes across ERP and other systems.
* Collaborate with IT to improve data integration across planning, production, quality, and inventory systems.
* Support new product introductions and seasonal launches with timely master data setup.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Act as the main point of contact for all master data-related topics across for all stakeholders.
* Collaborate with the planning team to ensure data consistency across locations.
Reporting & Analytics
* Maintain dashboards and reports to track data quality, completeness, and maintenance KPIs.
* Monitor and correct data issues proactively, minimizing disruption to production, planning, and customer service.
Who you’ll be working with
Internally, you’ll collaborate with the wider Supply Chain team as well as other areas of Manufacturing, Production, Procurement, Engineering, and Quality teams.
Your blend of talent
This position could be right for you if you:
* Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
* Experience in leading, training and/or coaching people.
* Strong Excel skills with experience in Master Data Management, configurations of MRP systems and strong working knowledge of ERP systems, within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
* Experience of data governance, change control, project management and cross-functional collaboration, with strong communication skills.
* Detail-oriented with a structured and analytical approach with a proactive mindset and a passion for process improvement.
