The ideal candidate should ideally have a background in managing companies within the payroll, recruitment or financial services sector.

* Ensure alignment of operations and initiatives with business goals, working closely with the board.
Operational Oversight & Growth
* Oversee operations across all locations, ensuring seamless execution and consistent quality in services.
* Develop and implement strategies for expanding into new geographical markets and sectors, and increasing revenue in our existing locations, with quarterly reviews of performance.
* Drive business development initiatives and work closely with marketing and sales teams to expand the client base.
Compliance & Risk Management
* Ensure total compliance with UK employment law, financial regulations and company policies. While only basic knowledge of UK law is needed, you will oversee communication between local legal teams and the company's central legal department.
* Manage risk and governance, ensuring the business maintains the highest standards of operational compliance.

* Proven experience as a Managing Director, CEO, or senior executive in the payroll, recruitment, HR, or financial services sector.
* Strong understanding of payroll management.
* Basic understanding of UK employment law is sufficient, as dedicated legal teams handle jurisdiction-specific compliance.
* Demonstrated track record of growing businesses, meeting revenue targets, and expanding operations internationally.
* Strong leadership skills with a focus on team building, mentorship, and performance management.
* Financial acumen with experience in managing budgets and financial forecasting.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
