We are looking for a passionate, dedicated and vibrant level 3 practitioner with sound EYFS knowledge and a friendly, nurturing, and fun loving personality to join our professional team at Crazy 4 Kids Radstone.

What Do We Need From You -
* Full and relevant level 3 qualification - This role does require a minimum of a level 3 qualification.
* 12 hours paediatric first aid - All staff hold a current certificate, however if this has expired, this training is offered as part of the initial core package.
* Relevant safeguarding/child protection training - This is also offered as part of the core training package, if required, but a willingness to update training regularly is a must.
* Early Years experience - A minimum of 1 years experience working within the Early Years Sector as a qualified practitioner is certainly desirable.
* Creative, Fun and Vibrant Personality - Spending so many hours at work each week, it is important that you enjoy your job and have fun. Children grow and learn when they are engaged and having fun within a caring and nurturing team. A team player is a must.

Hours
40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, all year round.
Purpose of the Post
To assist the Nursery Manager to provide high quality education and care for children from 6 months to 10 years 11 months, ensuring the children's needs are being met at all times. Assist in meeting and maintaining our regulatory and compliant responsibilities working within the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
Roles and Responsibilities
* To provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times.
* To deliver an appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children to make individual progress.
* To undertake designated roles as directed.
* To work with parents and other professionals for the benefit of children and families.
* To help ensure the nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times.
* To work within and implement nursery policies and procedures, including how to respond to incidents, accidents, complaints and emergencies and record accordingly
* Have working knowledge of Child Protection Policies and Procedures and what to do if there were concerns about a child, i.e. responding to disclosures, recording and reporting procedures.
* To plan activities which ensure each child is working towards the early learning outcomes.
* To fulfil effectively the role of key person.
* To ensure records are properly maintained, e.g. daily attendance register, accident and incident book, risk assessments
* To assist in creating a safe environment for both children and staff through responding, recording and reporting all Health & Safety issues as identified
* Attend monthly staff meetings
* Maintain a professional conduct at all times
* Attend any other training as identified in Performance Management Meetings
* Carry out any other duties within the range and scope of the post that may be required in order to meet Nursery / Company needs.
