We're looking for dedicated and caring individuals to join our team as Bank Senior Care Assistants, working across our Ashmere homes (all within DE postcode areas). A full driving licence is essential for this role.
About the Role
As a Senior Care Assistant with Ashmere, you'll play a key role in supporting our residents and leading the team on shift. Your responsibilities will include:
* Communicating with residents, relatives, colleagues, and visitors in a professional and caring manner
* Providing personal care and assisting at mealtimes when required
* Leading the shift – including staff allocation, administering medication, and liaising with the Home Manager, GPs, nurses, and other professionals
* Showing compassion and commitment to ensuring the highest standards of care
This is a rewarding and varied role where no two days are the same
What We're Looking For
* Experience in administering medication
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* A compassionate, caring approach to residents and colleagues
