We are looking for a full-time real estate accountant to join our expanding team! You'll be responsible for keeping our financial records organized, including tracking accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring that each account is reconciled correctly. Responsibilities
* Look over accounts payable and receivable regularly to ensure every invoice and expense report to evaluate accuracy
* Enter financial data into computer software, making sure all bills and invoices are filed correctly
* Prepare for quarterly reporting using standard best practices and assist in monthly closings
* Reconcile all business accounts to ensure our records match up and no transaction gets lost
* Adapt to the needs of the real estate team to complete other accounting tasks when necessary
Qualifications
* Effective communicator with a collaborative approach and the ability to present data insightsto leadership
* Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Strong analytical skills with experience in ROI analysis and forward-looking financial planning
* Background in real estate preferred
* Understands basic rules of GAAP
* Capable of using property management software, such as Yardi
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks
* Solid written and verbal communication skills are a must
Compensation
$36,000 - $48,000 yearly
