We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Consultant Stroke Physician to join a well-established multidisciplinary clinical team in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based stroke care across hyper-acute, acute, and rehabilitation pathways, while contributing to service development, clinical governance, and teaching.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and deliver consultant-level care for patients presenting with acute and complex stroke conditions
2. Participate in hyper-acute stroke services, inpatient stroke care, and outpatient follow-up clinics
3. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including neurology, rehabilitation, nursing, and allied health professionals
4. Support thrombolysis decision-making and acute stroke management protocols
5. Contribute to service development, audit, quality improvement, and clinical governance activities
6. Provide supervision, mentoring, and teaching to junior doctors and allied healthcare professionals
7. Participate in on-call and rota duties as required
