About the role
Are you an enthusiastic and caring individual with apassion for supporting children in a nursery setting?
We are looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive school nursery.
The successful candidate will need a wide range of skills to support our children's needs and will have a genuine desire to help create a safe and engaging environment to ensure children reach their full potential.
Previous experience of working with children is essential.
An NVQ Level 2 qulification in Early Years / Childcare Development is essential.
We require a good standard of general education and GCSEs or equivalentin English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above are desirable.
Working Hours
The hours are32.5 hours per week, 6.5 hours per day, working 08:30am - 03:30pm Monday-Friday. The role is term-time only (38 weeks per year).
Pay
The pay scale is set at KSA (which is £24,513 for a full time position) which equates to approximately £18,286 per annum pro rata.
Interview Process
A formal 30 minute interview will take place with a panel comprising ofmembers of the Leadership Team. Candidateswill be required to plan and lead a15-minute story activity with a small group of nursery children.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service and a check against the ISA Barred List for Children, two satisfactory references and right to work in the UK documentation. All new employees to the school, including those with previous local government service, shall be subject to a 6-month probationary period.
