We invite applications for a Post Doctoral Research Fellow in AI‑enabled Multidimension Geographic Information Systems (MultiGIS) to contribute to the UKRI/EPSRC funded AI4MultiGIS project, a collaboration with leading European academic institutions.

 * Salary: £38,784 – £44,746 per annum

About The Role
The Fellow will act as a link between the Schools of Computing and Information Science & Engineering and Built Environment, contributing to the AI4MultiGIS project. Responsibilities include:
 * Developing and optimising intelligent data pipelines for MultiGIS data generation and management.
 * Designing and implementing novel outlier‑detection algorithms using unsupervised deep‑learning techniques.
 * Processing real‑time spatiotemporal data and delivering Responsible AI solutions.
 * Collaborating with partner institutions across Europe.
 * Publishing peer‑reviewed research papers and presenting findings at conferences.
Qualifications
 * PhD (or near completion) or an equivalent postgraduate research qualification in a relevant field.
 * Strong experience in research methods and AI/ML techniques for geospatial analysis and modelling.
 * Proficiency with state‑of‑the‑art GIS‑based software.
 * Excellent written and oral communication skills.
 * Proven track record of publishing peer‑reviewed research.
 * Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
