Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant local to Hemel Hempstead looking to make a real difference in the classroom? Academics are currently working with a fantastic SEN provision in Hemel Hempstead, who are seeking a passionate individual to join their team on a permanent basis.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting children with a range of additional and complex needs, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You'll work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment for every learner.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs.
Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging learning activities.
Promote emotional well-being and positive behaviour in the classroom.
Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will:
Have previous experience working with children, ideally within an SEN or school setting.
Be patient, compassionate, and adaptable.
