Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lettings Negotiator to join our team on a part-time basis. This varied role combines time out in the field—carrying out property viewings, inspections, and check-outs—with office-based duties such as handling offers, writing brochures, and progressing lettings. It's an excellent opportunity for someone with lettings experience who enjoys a mix of customer-facing work and office responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Arrange and conduct property viewings with prospective tenants.
* Carry out property inspections and tenant check-outs, including condition assessments and key collection.
* Bringing a property to market - taking measurements and clear, high-quality photographs for property brochures and listings and creating adverts.
* Deal with tenancy offers, liaising between landlords and tenants.
* Draft and update property brochures and adverts.
* Assist with tenancy progression and ensure properties are ready between tenancies.
* Communicate effectively with tenants, landlords, and office staff, providing excellent customer service.
* Keep accurate records of all lettings activities.
What We're Looking For
* Essential: Previous lettings experience (minimum 2 years).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Confident using IT systems (Microsoft 365).
* Experience using Alto software (desirable but not essential).
* Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Full, clean driving licence and access to a car (essential).
* ARLA Level 3 qualification (desirable but not essential).
