Residential Management Group, one of the UK's largest Property Management companies, is looking for an experienced Accounts Preparation Officer to join our dynamic team at our Northwich office. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in reviewing financial data for service charges and preparing accounts, collaborating with auditors, accountants, and property managers to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Your Responsibilities
As an Accounts Preparation Officer, you will:
* Prepare and produce service charge accounts in a timely manner.
* Liaise with Property Managers to address client queries and assist in account production.
* Collaborate with external accountants and auditors to ensure accurate account production.
* Reconcile completed accounts with the finance system.
* Provide an escalation path for complex queries and problems.
* Adhere to company processes, procedures, and policies.
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following:
Essential Qualifications
* Previous experience in a finance/accounts-based role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Intermediate Excel skills.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
* Outstanding communication skills, providing high-level customer service.
* Ability to make informed decisions independently and collaboratively.
* Understanding of prepayments, accruals, journal posting, and double-entry accounting.
Preferred Qualifications
* Currently studying towards a financial qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
* Experience in the property sector, specifically with service charge accounts.
