About This Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Director, Head of Commercial Performance & Effectiveness, to join our Commercial Cards team. This senior leadership role is accountable for leading the commercially focused elements of the commercial card business, including portfolio and sales performance, commercial strategy, data, pricing, and contract management. You will partner with Finance, Sales, Digital, Product, and Operational teams to drive strong commercial outcomes aligned with the business strategy. Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Cards, you’ll play a key role as part of the Commercial Card Leadership Team. This role provides a great opportunity to lead a dynamic and forward‑thinking team and shape and deliver the business strategy.
Accountabilities
* Own and drive the commercial strategy
* Oversight and management of the end‑to‑end P&L
* Ensure pricing strategy and methodology reflect business outcomes
* Drive understanding and track portfolio performance to inform the strategy
* Partner closely with Finance and Sales teams to accurately track and report progress
* Lead, coach, and mentor the team to enable high performance
* Manage customer contracts and ensure performance aligns with standards and terms

Qualifications
* Strong commercial skills
* Experience leading commercialisation teams and/or projects
* Exceptional P&L management skills
* Strong leadership skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to think laterally, be innovative and find creative solutions
* Brilliant collaborator across matrix teams
Preferred Experience
* Experience and understanding of Commercial Cards
* Knowledge of cards payment rails and funding models
