Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager with a background in the biopharmaceutical industry to lead our offline marketing activities across the EU and US regions. This role will focus on driving marketing events and initiatives, enhancing our brand presence, and fostering growth in these key markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing successful marketing campaigns and events. This role will also require strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and the global marketing team to ensure cohesive and impactful execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Management
* Plan, organize, and execute EU and US conferences and tradeshows to maximize brand visibility and engagement.
* Lead the organization of self-hosted workshops in the EU and US, including speaker coordination and logistics management.
* Collaborate with the corporate team on co-marketing events and support corporate marketing events in Europe.
* Oversee the live hosting of webinars, ensuring seamless execution and high audience engagement, including moderating sessions and managing Q&A.
1. Content Polishing
* Review and refine English-language marketing content to align with Western language and cultural norms.
* Work closely with headquarters to enhance the quality and impact of marketing communications.
2. Marketing Insights and Strategy
* Provide regional marketing insights and analysis to inform strategy and decision-making.
* Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies to enhance brand presence in the EU and US.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives and drive integrated campaigns.
* Maintain strong collaboration with the global marketing team and headquarters to share insights, best practices, and ensure cohesive execution.
* Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry stakeholders to support marketing initiatives.
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing or a Biologics-related field.
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years in marketing within the biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry, with experience managing EU and US markets.
* Skills: Proven success in managing marketing events and campaigns, strong project management, excellent communication and presentation skills, and strong writing and editing skills.
* Attributes: Ability to work independently and in a global team, excellent collaboration skills, strategic thinking focused on results and ROI.
Location: Home-based in the UK, native English speaker, with business travel within the EU expected.
