Senior Rehabilitation Specialist
Manchester Didsbury FWC | Permanent | Part time
Up to £31,200 pro rata per annum, depending on skills and experience.
7.5 hours per week.
Senior Rehabilitation Specialist role to help deliver the Nuffield Health Rehabilitation Programmes using the Nuffield Health pathway and support the charitable purpose. The role involves remote (digital) and in‑person facilitation of exercise, emotional wellbeing support, healthy eating and goal setting to aid participants’ recovery.
Responsibilities
* Organise and run rolling 12‑week rehabilitation programmes.
* Facilitate and deliver live‑stream and in‑person group exercise classes for participants with varying abilities and physical function.
* Promote self‑directed activity through pre‑recorded on‑demand classes and a journal to help participants manage their condition after the 12‑week programme.
* Re‑calibrate exercises and intensities based on regular progress and performance improvements.
* Identify deterioration in participants and, if necessary, follow internal escalation processes, reporting within specific timeframes and capturing outcome data accurately.
* Engage in weekly 1‑to‑1 telephone conversations to offer coaching on goal setting, monitoring progress, and emotional wellbeing support.

Qualifications
* Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification (essential).
* Previous experience in a Rehabilitation Specialist position (preferred).
* BSc(Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation (desirable, not essential).
