About the Role
We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award‑winning team as a Care Assistant – Bank at Brentwood Arches Care Home in Brentwood.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist residents with personal hygiene and care, ensuring their independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
* Identify and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls, and signs of infection, and report any identified risks promptly.
* Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
* Practice safe systems of work when carrying out a range of tasks.
* Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrate initiative, be respectful towards residents and colleagues, and be an efficient worker who can follow reasonable instructions from team members.
* Adapt and work flexibly to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience is not required; Avery provides a thorough induction and training programme.
* Ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate initiative and respect, and adapt to new tasks.
Requirements
* A DBS Disclosure check – the cost will be met by Avery Healthcare.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
