The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an office-based Export Administrator to support customer despatch operations, at our client based in Sutton in Ashfield .

This role involves shipping orders through UK routes (non-customs), producing essential business and compliance paperwork, and ensuring smooth and accurate despatch processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and ship customer orders via UK routes
Generate all required documentation for despatch and compliance
Maintain accurate data input and administrative records
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners
Support general office duties as required
Skills & Experience Required:
Previous experience in customer despatch or shipping
Strong numeracy and data input skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.)
Excellent administrative and organisational abilities
Desirable: Experience with FedEx, UPS, and exporting/customs procedures
Personal Attributes:
Collaborative and team-oriented
Prefers verbal communication over messaging for clarity and connection
High attention to detail
Friendly, approachable, and self-motivated
Working hours & pay rate:
0830-1700 (flexible start between 08:00-09:00 after training)
45 minute lunch break
Monday to Friday
£13.00 per hour (negotiation dependable on previous experience)
