Job Description
The role of the The Product Coordinator – Intern is to support the Motorsport Product team on all upcoming product launches. The Product Coordinator – Intern will report directly to Assistant Product Manager.
Responsibilities
* To work alongside APM to co-ordinate Motorsport product from development to launch (proto sample orders / approvals, maintaining product roadmaps / calendars, SMS management).
* To ensure all products are loaded and tracked on PLM.
* To communicate range development status to the US Business Unit as per Time and Action Calendar deadlines, ensuring all tools required (range development calendar, pricing file, colorway sheets, and sample specs) are updated and available to the US.
* Understands development process, calendars and development / launch cycle is achieved.
* To submit Material ID requests for all relevant program products / program SMU.
* To work with Global Sourcing (EMEA) to ensure relevant products and programs are launched with achievable delivery dates and achieve target margin.
* To communicate launch updates to Operations Team to be communicated to Sales / Customer Service.
* To coordinate/ organise samples and presentation tools for events including but not limited to Sales Meetings and Trade shows. This will include support when requested during key presentations.
* Distribute development samples to the sales team and customers in a timely manner.
* To ensure all licensed products go through our Licensor’s approval processes.
* Maintain Shared drives to ensure all relevant product information is available to Sales and Internally.
Knowledge and Experience
* Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages including Excel and PowerPoint.
* Problem solving capabilities – a solution provider.
* Strong communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills.
Qualifications and Achievements
Through experience, must be able to demonstrate achievement over time in the following areas:
* Orientation towards the culture, product category and instinct for the specific market
* Contributing individual capabilities in the achievement of group objectives and working effectively with others in a group setting
* Enthusiastic and pro-active
* Ideally this candidate would have worked in a Product Line Management System previously
Education
* Good secondary education, preferably up to A-level or equivalent standard
