We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Wellbeing Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Hartpury. In this vital student-facing role, you will support the personal and social development of students, particularly those experiencing behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties. You will also play a key role in promoting student wellbeing, delivering early interventions, and supporting student retention and achievement.
You will:
1. Provide one-to-one and group support for students.
2. Organise and promote wellbeing events and initiatives.
3. Act as a key contact for students on wellbeing and safeguarding matters.
4. Monitor and report on student attendance and wellbeing.
5. Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure holistic support.
About You
You will have:
6. A minimum of 5 GCSEs (A–C) including Maths and English.
7. Previous experience supporting young people in a pastoral or educational setting.
8. Excellent communication and listening skills, with a high level of empathy and discretion.
9. A good understanding of safeguarding and residential student life.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
11. Experience working in a multi-agency setting would be advantageous.
