Your Role: Senior Associate, Liquidity Risk
We’re looking for a future team member to join our Treasury Risk team within the Risk and Compliance department, located in London.
What You'll Do:
In this impactful role, you will:
* Provide independent oversight of liquidity risk management through informed reviews and technical analysis.
* Engage with partners in Corporate Treasury, Finance, and other Risk teams to identify solutions that support BNY’s Client and Enterprise Platforms.
* Support senior management in developing and maintaining liquidity risk frameworks, including risk identification and assessment.
* Create innovative tools and processes that leverage AI and technology to enhance risk measurement and monitoring.
* Deliver presentations to senior leadership, highlighting risk analysis and validating significant changes in risk metrics.
What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
* Professional experience in liquidity risk or related financial risk departments within banking or financial services.
* Familiarity with liquidity and treasury risk management activities, including funding and cash flow projections.
* Experience in building and maintaining risk frameworks and collaborating with business partners.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create professional presentation decks using MS PowerPoint.
* Technical analysis skills and experience with data-driven approaches. Familiarity with SQL, Python, or data visualization software (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) is a plus.
