Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-time Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be part of a hard working team for maintaining cleanliness of all 6 beautiful holiday cottages. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on delivering exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming environment for clients. Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is advantageous, alongside skills such as customer service.
Duties
* Clean and sanitise all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces
* Change bed linens
* Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and dust surfaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness
* Assist with laundry duties when necessary
* Organise kitchen areas
* Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks
* Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
* Experience in hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred
* Excellent customer service skills to interact politely with clients and guests
* Organised with strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning standards are met
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
* Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
