Overview
First Military Recruitment is currently seeking a Gas Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of gas systems in commercial and residential buildings.
2. Install, test, and commission gas appliances and related equipment.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in gas systems, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
4. Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests.
5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
6. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including reports, service records, and maintenance logs.
7. Collaborate with other team members to coordinate work activities and ensure efficient workflow.
8. Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to gas engineering.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Domestic and Commercial Gas qualification is essential.
2. Previous experience as a Gas Engineer, preferably in a commercial maintenance setting.
3. Strong knowledge of gas regulations and safety procedures.
4. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
5. Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
6. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
7. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the designated area.
Location: Aldershot
Salary: Up to £44,700 per annum
