Search are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 driver to work on behalf of our prestigious client based in Manchester. Please note you need at least 12 months commercial class 2 driving experience for this role due to insurance purposesThis is a double manned role and will involve the delivery of drinks (including alcohol) to customer locations. This can be a physically demanding position as there is a large element of handball involved, including loading of the vehicle, so please consider this before applying.Pay rates PAYE* £15.00/h Monday to FridayPay rates PAYE (inc. holiday pay):* £17.65/h Monday to FridayKey Responsibilities:* Safely operate Class 2 vehicle.* Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service.* Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport.* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members.* Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.Requirements:* Valid Class 2 (C) driving license, CPC, Tacho card.* Experience in general haulage & able to strap* A clean driving record with no major endorsements.REFER A FRIEND, GET £200 *T&C apply, ask for details.Why Temp with Search?Search Drivers receive many benefits including- Uniform & introduction Driver pack (High Viz, Clipboard, stationary)- Flexible option to "bank" their holiday pay OR Add it to your hourly rate- Pension with Nest PensionsThe search driving team has got over 30 years experience, winning awards yearly.
