Are you a competent administrator with payroll or direct payments experience and a keen eye for detail. Do you have a passion for delivering excellent service? Our client, a well-established organisation in Potters Bar, is seeking a Direct Payments Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:Process payroll and maintaining accurate records for direct payment usersManage payroll groupings, including adding/removing reports and sending portal invitesUpdate monthly payroll spreadsheets with notes and processed dataAdd late payroll to invoice files and create invoices using SAPAction pay rate changes, including increases and hour adjustmentsDraft ad hoc letters for rent/mortgage applications and employment referencesRespond to queries on HMRC, pensions, hours and pay ratesHandle redundancy and notice period calculationsManage SMP/SSP calculations and related queriesCreate and maintain holiday recordsUpdate systems with new worker details and verify timesheetsMaintain front sheets on SAP and ensure correct funding for new accountsProcess pensions opt-out requests and chase NI numbersNotify relevant personnel when accounts are set upSupport with credit control as required
What The Client Is Looking For:Previous experience in payroll admin/direct payments would be usefulStrong organisational and time management skillsProficiency in SAP and Excel (or similar systems)Excellent communication skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks
