A highly reputable, long-established home care business in Eastleigh, covering the Winchester & Eastleigh area, seeks a Registered Care Manager to start as soon as possible.
Caremark (Winchester and Eastleigh) is dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care and support to elderly and vulnerable adults, enabling them to remain comfortably in their own homes for as long as possible.
Summary of role
To generate and promote a caring and supportive environment for our clients by implementing the highest standards of professional care and support. To manage a team of staff and encourage their development, skills and abilities.
The successful applicant will have experience in domiciliary care, ideally in a management capacity, and already hold the Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or be prepared to work towards it).
Principal responsibilities
1. To ensure that the business’s Aims & Objectives are achieved and to ensure that each client receives care and support which is appropriate to their individual needs.
2. To ensure the implementation and compliance of all relevant legislation and regulatory body guidance.
3. To ensure effective induction, training, and supervision of all staff, and to identify any further development or training needs.
4. To ensure effective communication and team building amongst all staff, including holding regular team meetings.
5. To oversee the recruitment and appointment of all staff.
6. Ensure the successful operation of quality control and risk management systems.
7. Ensure that all computerised and manual records are up to date.
8. Liaison with clients, relatives, representatives and social workers.
9. To work within agreed budgets to ensure the profitability of the business.
10. To actively participate in the growth and development of the business locally through various marketing exercises.

The successful applicant will immediately earn a salary of £40, per annum, depending on experience, with the prospect of performance-related enhancements.
