Overview
Our client is a class-leading, independent packaging business, driven by a team of industry experts with decades of experience of growing corporate packaging organisations. Focusing on cardboard, and corrugated products within the consumer (FMCG, Personal Care and Household care markets) they have built an exceptional reputation for delivering high quality products for a variety of customers across the UK. This is a homebased role, covering the North of England (NE / NW, West, South and North Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cheshire & M62 corridor). HQ is based in the North East but you will only be required in the office on an infrequent basis.
Responsibilities
* Own and grow a region and drive a sector as a Business Development Manager.
* While BDMs are traditionally hunters, you will also have a number of high-profile accounts to manage on a day-to-day basis.
* Drive profitable growth and leverage the benefits of being remote, with support when needed from a team and larger organisation behind you.
Requirements
* Experience in business development and sales, preferably in packaging or related sectors.
* Ability to work remotely with occasional office visits.
* Driven to advance within a meritocracy and pursue career growth.
* Location: North of England (NE / NW, West, South and North Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cheshire & M62 corridor).
