The Digital & Communications Assistant will support the creation and delivery of exciting footwear content across our digital channels and in-store teams. You’ll help create engaging product packs and updates that highlight new collections, key bestsellers, exclusive launches, and brand activations. You’ll also work closely with the Personal Shopping team and manage the Kurt Geiger client database to help drive communication, client engagement, and event support.
Digital Content Support
* Assist in creating product packs and digital materials to showcase newness, bestsellers, pop-ups, and exclusive launches.
* Help prepare weekly updates and assets for internal, including regional, teams and personal shoppers.
* Ensure all content is accurate, visually appealing, and aligned with brand tone.
* Create trend boards to inspire the PS team—monitor what buyers are doing, resurface relevant trends, introduce new brands, and collaborate with the RTW Personal Shopping team to create mood boards.
Personal Shopping & Client Team Coordination
* Work closely with Selfridges Personal Shopping teams (Private Client, Digital, RTW, and in-store stylists) to share key footwear updates and support client outreach.
* Provide product and brand information to assist with styling and recommendations.
* Help coordinate content needs for client appointments and activations.
* Support the creation of visually engaging and informative presentations for both the Management and Personal Shopping teams.
* Demonstrate a willingness to support the current Kurt Geiger Personal Shopping team in day-to-day operations, both on the shop floor and back of house.
* Foster relationships not only with Personal Shopping teams but also with host store departments such as RTW, Beauty, and others to encourage cross-department collaboration opportunities.
* Work closely with Kurt Geiger management and sales teams to drive sales performance, including spending time on the shop floor to gain a deeper understanding of our products, trends, and customer base.
Client Database Management
* Manage and maintain the Kurt Geiger client database, ensuring records are accurate and GDPR compliant.
* Support sales tracking and reporting for client purchases and interactions.
* Assist with sending targeted communications and identifying re-engagement opportunities.
* Support client engagement through tailored communications across multiple channels, including mail-outs and WhatsApp.
Event & Activation Support
* Help coordinate and communicate around in-store events and product launches.
* Support with invites, content materials, and follow-ups for personal shopping clients.
* Attend and assist at events where needed.
* Aid client retention by enhancing the excitement surrounding new launches and communicating in a way that fosters long-term loyalty.
Reporting & Admin
* Track and summarise content performance, client interactions, and sales influence.
* Provide regular updates to the team on key insights and areas of opportunity.
* Support broader sales creation by using various tools and approaches that go beyond visual content to drive growth.
* Show a willingness to take on any additional administrative or ad hoc tasks as required to support evolving business needs.
* Previous experience in a marketing, digital, or retail-focused role (internships count!).
* Passion for footwear, fashion, and luxury customer experiences.
* Strong communication skills — both written and visual.
* Highly organised, with great attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
* Comfortable working with Excel, email tools, and CMS/CRM platforms (training provided where needed).
* Team player who enjoys working cross-functionally and supporting high-performance retail teams.
