Job Description:

This role involves carrying out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites in a safe, professional, and cost-effective manner, maintaining documentation of all works in line with Health and Safety and Quality procedures.

The position requires working according to a planned schedule of service and maintenance jobs at our client’s premises.

Responsibilities include monitoring van stock levels, conducting inspections, completing job sheets and related paperwork accurately within required timescales, and ensuring all equipment and tools are in safe condition.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge in mechanical or electrical engineering and be willing to undergo additional training to excel within Crown Lift Trucks Ltd.

Key skills include the ability to work independently and as part of a team, good communication, high work standards, and adherence to deadlines.

We seek someone who can be product trained and immediately take on the Engineer Service role.

Person Specification:

* Full UK Driving Licence
* Proficient in fault finding and repair
* GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths
* Experience with Health & Safety in workshop settings
* Commitment to personal and professional development
* Organizational skills, resourcefulness, solution orientation
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize under tight deadlines
* Good communication skills – oral and written
* Negotiation and consultation skills
* Flexibility and resilience under pressure
* Positive attitude and motivation
* Experience in forklift truck service (preferred but not essential)

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30, with a 30-minute lunch break.
