The Community Wellbeing group Coordinator will coordinate the strategic launch of the Wellbeing Community Centres developing and continuing to implement a new programme of wellbeing activities and projects in the community and support the wellbeing centre programme.
This role reports to the Wellbeing Programme Team Leader :Thomas Pond.
The post holder will manage the internal and external relationships with healthcare teams/organisations to ensure the Community centres are well attended and maximising impact on patients, family members and carers accessing community centres.
Currently we have 4 community centres; Biddulph, Madeley, Cheadle and Longton. These are aimed for patients, carers and families known to the Dougie Mac to access support closer to home. We have a KPI of having 10 by 2026; your role will be to lead this area of community work for the wellbeing services and develop the service provision out in the community.
You will be joining the wellbeing centre staff team, once fully recruited this will consist of 6 full time staff, one bank staff and our team of 20+ volunteers. Staff will be situated in the Wellbeing Centre and Wellbeing Office.
Salary: £24,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

This role will require a DBS Check which will be processed and paid for by the hospice. A driving licence is required for this role.
