We are seeking a compassionate and approachable male Support Worker to join our community-based team in Muscliff, providing dedicated support to Lee.

To be considered for this role, you would need to have a Full UK driving license.

The role

Lee resides independently in his own home in Muscliff. He communicates his needs through a combination of PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), basic sign language, and body language.

Lee engages in a variety of meaningful and enjoyable activities, including: Visiting the local farm. Spending time at the park, particularly enjoying the swings and the roundabout. Walking through the forest, where he finds pleasure in shredding leaves along the path. On quieter days, Lee prefers indoor activities such as watching Disney films or completing puzzles, which he does with remarkable speed and accuracy.

Our dedicated team strives to empower each person to live a fulfilling and meaningful life, with dignity and autonomy.

Hours:

25 hours per week

This would be a mixture of shifts Monday - Sunday with hours ranging between 7am - 10pm

This role would include alternate weekends and sleep ins (sleep ins come with an additional payment)
