Food Production Line Operative Role
The Food Production Line Operative in the ready meal sector is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate production of meals, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
This role involves tasks such as weighing, filling, assembling ingredients, operating machinery, and packing finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Line Tasks: Assisting with various production tasks on the line, including weighing, filling, assembling, and packaging ingredients.
2. Machine Operation: Operating machinery and equipment to process and prepare food, ensuring correct and safe functioning.
3. Quality Control: Performing quality checks on products to meet standards and reporting issues.
4. Food Safety: Adhering to strict food safety regulations and procedures.
5. Despatch: Packing products into boxes and preparing them for dispatch.
6. Kitchen: Assisting in the kitchen department by mixing and preparing food in large batches.
7. Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized work area, cleaning equipment, and assisting with maintenance tasks.
8. Packing and Labeling: Packing finished products into containers and ensuring correct labeling.
9. Stock Management: Assisting with stock checks and ensuring supplies are adequate.
10. Teamwork: Working effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.
11. Following Instructions: Accurately following instructions and adhering to production schedules.
Preferred Skills:
* Attention to Detail: Working with precision and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
* Physical Stamina: Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
* Basic Math Skills: Performing calculations and measurements as needed.
* Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with team members.

* Basic Understanding of Food Production: Familiarity with food processing equipment is a plus.
* No Experience Required: Full support is provided; previous experience is not necessary. We welcome applicants from backgrounds such as Warehouse, Production, Line Operator, DPD, EVRI, and others.
