Electric Vehicle Diagnostic Technician

£42K p/a plus OT
Hours: 47.5 per week, two shifts:
* 06:00 - 16:00
* 15:00 - 00:00 (midnight)
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join a Prep Centre in Lutterworth. You\'ll be working with over 1,600 vehicles each month, helping to prepare them for our growing network of stores.
General Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair faults across multiple vehicle makes and models
* Handle complex electrical and mechanical issues
* Carry out software updates, calibrations, and reprogramming
* Support colleagues with technical expertise
* Ensure all vehicles meet quality standards before sale
* Keep accurate service and diagnostic records
To be considered, you must have
* NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
* Strong diagnostic skills, with multi-brand experience preferred
* Confident using fault codes, wiring diagrams, and technical data
* Background in a fast-paced workshop environment
* High attention to detail and pride in your work
* Team player with good communication skills
* Full UK driving licence
