Purchase Ledger Clerk – Part Time - Temporary
* Hourly Rate: £13.50-£15 per hour
* Location: Hazel Grove
* Hours: 15 per week
* Length: 3-months minimum
Our client is seeking a dedicated Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a Part-time Temporary basis
Duties:
* Accurately match, verify, and code purchase invoices
* Handle job invoices from subcontractors, including the collection of required documentation
* Prepare payments for suppliers and manage expense processing
* Oversee credit card expenditures and maintain supplier account details
* Perform reconciliations of supplier statements and oversee petty cash transactions
* Act as the primary contact for all supplier-related inquiries
* Process payments via credit card for customers and foster strong relationships with both customers and suppliers
* Regularly communicate with the Line Manager to provide updates on workload and discuss any pertinent issues
Requirements:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Sage 200 experience is key
* Strong organisational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
* Previous experience in manufacturing would be desirable
