Are you a compassionate and motivated leader looking for a rewarding role in social care? We are seeking a Deputy Manager to join our dedicated team in a residential care home supporting 12 adults with a learning disability.
As Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the home, supporting both residents and staff. You will work closely with the Registered Manager, providing leadership, guidance, and hands-on support to maintain high-quality, person-centred care.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting the day-to-day management of the home
* Leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of support staff
* Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and policies
* Developing and implementing care plans to meet residents' needs
* Working a variety of shifts, including alternate weekends
* Being on-call as required for the home
Requirements:
* Experience working with adults with a learning disability in a residential setting
* Supervisory or leadership experience in a social care environment
* A compassionate and proactive approach to care
* Knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding policies
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it) - Level 5 desirable

* Hours: 42 hours per week (including alternate weekends & varied shifts)
