Through an innovative e-commerce platform that helps shoppers discover and purchase products within the app, TikTok E-commerce builds new connections for merchants and brands with an entertaining user experience. We are committed to supporting local merchants and creators through our safe and trusted shopping platform.
The UK Operations team is responsible for identifying, onboarding and growing new merchants as well as creating long term strategies to develop existing businesses on TikTok Shop. The team manages thousands of merchants and millions of products which customers are able to buy on TikTok Shop. Merchants sell by posting their own content, or by working with creators to post content on their behalf. The team is set to grow fast throughout 2024 in order to continue to deliver sales for our merchants and ensure customers have access to an ever expanding set of market leading brands.
Responsiblities:
- Lead the team to drive acquisition of SMB merchants
- Incubation and educate new merchants in the UK market
- Develop/optimize acquisition channels; allocate budget and compute ROIs
- Develop merchant onboarding programs with corresponding education/incentives
- Analyze and optimize the conversion funnel
- Work with cross functional teams such as product, operations and moderation to improve merchant onboarding and incubation
- Manage a diverse team, identify and develop talents
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- 5+ years of working experience
- Data-driven approach to business planning and decision making
- Ability to understand operational details and prioritize projects accordingly
- Ability to coordinate projects across multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and can drive effective education
- Team management experience
- Fluent in English
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience in user growth, product management or business operation is preferred
- Experience in eCommerce or marketplace platforms is a plus
- Experience working at a global company and navigating nuances of a multi-cultural environment is a plus
