Applicants must have full GMC Registration, a license to practise and eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview. Portfolio Pathway (formerly known as CESR - Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once it has been awarded. Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.

Consultant in General Internal Medicine with a Specialty interest – 1 year fixed term post (10PAs)
This is a great opportunity to join the General Medicine team at St John’s Hospital, Livingston. St John’s is located 14 miles west of Edinburgh and provides a full range of medical services. The successful applicant will work with colleagues to provide care for patients with a broad range of medical conditions. We are looking for an individual with consultant level experience to contribute to acute medicine and continuing care patients in a general medical ward.
