Job duties: Access data from various sources (such as relational databases, distributed data sources and third party data capture tools) and create analyses using visualization tool to share customized insights with business and analytics partners. Prototype data sets used in reporting and analyses. Responsible for providing analytical partnership for aligned functional group and clearly communicating insights to senior leaders and collaborating cross data teams to drive broader data improvements. Identify insights-based business opportunities, partner on initiative design, oversee initiative execution and track business outcomes. Apply business acumen and analytical skills to provide direction at each phase of varied business initiatives they support. Use business domain knowledge in combination with expertise in data and analytics to quantify and prioritize business opportunities, build business cases, propose customized actions and changes, plan and execute experiments, create dashboards and reporting, measure business results and explain the business impact of associated actions. Demonstrate case specific independent judgment to utilize analytics tools and techniques based on business requirements. No direct reports and no managerial duties. Individual contributor level role only. Employer will accept a Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field and 6 months of experience in the job offered or in an Analyst-related occupation.
